MYL's Karma Association

The mission of the Karma Association is to make yoga classes at My Yoga Lounge available to everyone in our community, regardless of financial need. If you would like to apply for a temporary Class Pass subsidy, please complete an application form (located inside by our front door), and submit it to the front desk attendant in an envelope addressed to Lori. All of your application information, as well as your subsidy approval or disapproval, will be kept strictly confidential. Subsidy passes will be granted based on need, commitment to yoga practice, willingness of applicant to provide in-kind community service, and availability of foundation funds.

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GIVING
As we grow spiritually, we naturally become more generous and openhearted. Rather than come from a place of lack and being anxious over whether we'll have enough - we come from a place of abundance and contentment. Your cash donation will enable the KARMA ASSOCIATION to subsidize class passes for those individuals who share your passion for yoga, but do not have sufficient funds available to purchase full price class passes. Use this gifting opportunity to celebrate special events, give thanks for an inspirational class, share your gratitude, or to pay it forward for having been the beneficiary of a human kindness. (Gifts in honor of others are perfect for that someone who has everything too!) All levels of giving, one time or on-going, are welcome. Donors and recipients remain anonymous. Donations may be in the form of cash or checks, made out to Karma Association, and delivered to My Yoga Lounge to Lori Moore or front desk attendant. (Note that donations are NOT tax deductible, in order to avoid the recurring costs of establishing and maintaining a tax-exempt non-profit corporation. 100% of your donation will be spent on class pass subsidies and will help those students who practice in our sacred space.)
