Need Some Space...? Use ours!
my yoga lounge is conveniently located in the heart of Sacramento within easy walking distance of many excellent shops and restaurants. The studio has close freeway access to Highway 50 as well as the American River Bike Trail. Next door to us (within our complex) are three delicious restaurants: Danielle's Creperie, Chinois City Café, and Café Vinoteca – and a few doors down is Beach Hut Deli. Starbucks and Golden One Credit Union (as well as other convenient businesses/services) are located in our shopping center also.

Our 800-square foot space has hardwood floors, pleasing décor, as well as an intimate lounge area with a sofa, chair, cushions, and coffee table. A small refrigerator and hot water dispenser are available for your use as well as a 100-disk stereo system with surround sound. A thermostat and ceiling fan give you complete temperature control. For a small extra fee, padded folding chairs are available as well as a full complement of yoga props.

We also have a small carpeted healing room that is available for rent for massage therapists and other healing modalities. Read more (.pdf) ...

what you need to know

• New students should arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins (initial paperwork, meet instructor, set-up mat, etc.).
  
  
• Inform the instructor before class of any injuries or medical conditions that might affect your practice.
  
  
• Avoid being late because classes start on time.
  
  
• Bring or buy your own yoga mat (for hygienic reasons).You’re welcome to use ours if needed.
  
  
• Bring water and a small towel.
  
  
• Try not to eat 1 - 2 hours before class.
  
  
• Wear comfortable clothing to move in and bare feet.
  
  
• Please no shoes in the yoga studio area.
  
  
• Turn off all cell phones or pagers in the studio.

Finally, be gentle with yourself and honor your limits. Do what you can without judgment. Yoga is NOT a competitive practice - so please, pay attention to yourself and not your fellow student. Most importantly, enjoy yourself and don't take it too seriously. After all, it's only yoga.
